Ilham Aliyev met with a delegation of deputies and senators of the French parliament

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and his wife and the head of the France-Azerbaijan inter-parliamentary friendship group, Mehriban Aliyeva, have met with a delegation of deputies and senators of the French Parliament.

The deputies and senators of the French Parliament congratulated President Ilham Aliyev on his reelection as President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

During the meeting the sides indicated that the Third Baku International Humanitarian Forum would make a significant contribution to the expansion of ties between countries of the world in various fields. It was emphasized that relations between Azerbaijan and France in political, economic and other fields have been developing smoothly. The sides noted the role of inter-parliamentary friendship groups in the further strengthening of the ties between the two countries.

The parties also expressed their confidence that relations between Azerbaijan and France would continue to expand in the future too.
