I heartily congratulate you on being sworn in as President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Having worked in the position of First Deputy Prime Minister of Dagestan for many years and dealing with matters of cooperation with fraternal Azerbaijan, I was fortunate enough to meet your great father Heydar Aliyev and with you, and work with your associates in the name of friendship and understanding between our peoples.

We sincerely rejoice in Azerbaijan's successes in economic development, strengthening of its international authority and the development of friendly relations between Russia and Azerbaijan.

The people of Azerbaijan have once again proved that they fully support the development course launched by Heydar Aliyev and being continued by his worthy son.
