President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has reviewed a renovated park in Rahib Mammadov Street in the Ahmadli settlement of Baku.
As is the case in other districts of the capital, important social infrastructure projects are carried out in the Khatai district as well. The measures aimed at the development of the district and the projects implemented to date impart further beauty to the appearance of the capital. Thanks to a focused policy of the state, which always keeps the welfare of Azerbaijani citizens in the spotlight, extensive steps are being taken to establish parks and gardens in the capital. This work is carried out with style and professionalism.
In accordance with the instructions and recommendations of President Ilham Aliyev, projects on the development of Baku have become an integral part of the city life. An example of this is the restored park in Rahib Mammadov Street in the Ahmadli settlement of the capital.
The head of the Khatai district executive authority, Rasim Mammadov, informed President Ilham Aliyev that a recreation area has been established in this densely populated part of the city to expand people’s leisure opportunities. The park covering an area of 1.8 hectares has a modern fountain complex and a musical fountain 20 meters in diameter. The fountain equipped with a modern lighting system has different shades of color. Special beauty is imparted to the park by a waterfall also created here. There is a large monitor in the park.
The park has an amusement center for kids. The mother and child café, the entertainment area and a variety of rides and roundabouts are sure to make children’s rest interesting and memorable. The complex covering an area of 1,000 square meters is one of the biggest entertainment centers in the capital. An area of 7,000 square meters has been landscaped. The recreation area has been planted with ornamental trees and flower bushes and an automatic irrigation system installed. The buildings around the park have been refurbished in a modern and their facades renewed.
Thanks to the creative and landscaping work and the establishment of new parks and gardens, our capital has acquired a new look and further strengthened its position among the most beautiful cities of the world. The measures taken for the development of the capital have changed Baku beyond recognition. The parks imparting special charm to our native Baku are yet another example of the extensive landscaping work under way in the country in general.
