On 11 October, Israeli President Shimon Peres telephoned President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
Shimon Peres congratulated the head of our state on the victory in the presidential election and wished him every success in his presidential activity.
The head of state expressed his gratitude to the President of Israel for the attention and congratulations.
During the conversation the sides exchanged views on issues relating to various aspects of relations between Azerbaijan and Israel.
