Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili telephoned President Ilham Aliyev

On 10 October, Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili telephoned President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

Mikheil Saakashvili congratulated the head of our state on a landslide victory in the presidential election and wished him every success in the high post for the benefit of our people and future development of the Azerbaijani state.

The President expressed his gratitude to the President of Georgia for the attention and congratulation.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili also expressed their satisfaction with the successful development of friendly relations between the two countries and voiced their confidence over a further strengthening of bilateral relations in the future.
