On my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan, I congratulate you and through your brotherly people on the occasion of the National Day of Georgia – the Day of the Restoration of State Independence.

Azerbaijan and Georgia have centuries-old friendly and neighborly relations. Today, these relations are dynamically and comprehensively developing, acquiring new content and reaching the level of strategic partnership.

I am confident that we will continue to pursue our cooperation, which is based on mutual trust and support, both bilaterally and within the framework of regional and international organizations, as well as our joint efforts for the well-being of our peoples, the prosperity and progress of our countries and the stability of our region.

On this auspicious holiday I wish you good health and success in your activities, and peace and prosperity to the friendly people of Georgia.
