As part of a visit to Fizuli District, President Ilham Aliyev attended the opening of a Youth Center in Horadiz.
The head of state cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening of the center.
While reviewing the center, President Ilham Aliyev was informed that the two-storey building of the center was built in 18 months. Its total area is 980 square meters. In the lobby, there are photo stands reflecting the activities of nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev and President Ilham Aliyev, their visits to Fuzuli District and meetings with young people.
The local mini-café has all the conditions for young people’s rest. The first floor will operate a billiard room, a sewing club and offices. In the drawing club young people will learn the secrets of the art of drawing and painting. All the computers of the local Internet club are connected to broadband Internet. There are plans to establish computer and language courses here, for which there is a separate language lab.
The center also has pneumatic and interactive shooting ranges fitted with foreign equipment. The interactive shooting equipment operates 30 different shooting programs, two of which are meant for Olympic sports. The center will also conduct intellectual games among young people of the district. Thus, the center will play an important role in the efficient organization of young people’s leisure.
The area around the center has modern lighting and irrigation systems and is fully landscaped.
After reviewing the center, President Ilham Aliyev gave relevant instructions and recommendations.
