President Ilham Aliyev has attended the opening of the Heydar Aliyev Center in Horadiz.
The head of state cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening of the center.
It was noted that elements of national architecture were extensively used in the construction of the center covering an area of 1,600 square meters. The foundation of the building was laid in June 2011 and the construction completed in October this year.
There is a bust of nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev at the center, photo stands reflecting all periods of the great leader’s life, including his visits to Fuzuli District in different years. To communicate the rich heritage of the great leader to future generations, there is an electronic library and a special area at the center where documents related to the activities of the nationwide leader are stored.
President Ilham Aliyev reviewed the center’s conference rooms. It was indicated that 80- and 300-seat conference rooms with special design are intended for hosting events of regional and national levels. The center’s offices have computers and other modern equipment. In order to encourage pupils to study the rich history of Azerbaijan, the center will operate special clubs.
The center provides information on ancient Azerbaijani states, demonstrates their symbols using laser technology, has a modern cinema, a showroom, as well as photo, design and sound studios. The available courses will enable youth to examine modern technological advances and develop their knowledge and skills. To do this, there is an online class and a computer center here. The center will conduct lessons on the political legacy of great leader Heydar Aliyev and the activities of President Ilham Aliyev. The building has a modern ventilation system.
After praising the work done, President Ilham Aliyev signed the memory book of the center.
