Ilham Aliyev reviewed an area in the Sahil settlement of the Garadagh district where a park is to be established

On the way back from the opening ceremony of a new “Holcim-Azerbaijan” cement plant in the Garadagh district, President Ilham Aliyev reviewed the progress of refurbishment of high-risers in the Sahil settlement and examined an area where a park is to be established.

The head of the Garadagh district Executive Authority, Suleyman Mikailov, informed the President about the ongoing and future work. It was noted that the façades of residential buildings in the settlement were being completely reconstructed and their appearance improved. President Ilham Aliyev enquired about the quality of reconstruction.

The President was also informed about a new park to be established in the settlement. It was noted that the park, covering an area of 6 hectares, would be fully suited for the recreation of local residents, a variety of ornamental shrubs and flowers would be planted, green areas laid down and modern lighting system installed.

After reviewing the ongoing work, President Ilham Aliyev gave appropriate instructions.
