President Ilham Aliyev has met with Prime Minister of Albania Sali Berisha in Istanbul.
The sides discussed the current state and prospects for bilateral ties and pointed to the presence of good opportunities for the development of cooperation in energy, investment and tourism sectors. It was indicated that Albania was interested in cooperating with Azerbaijan in the field of oil and gas infrastructure.
Prime Minister Sali Berisha said that efforts were being made to open the Embassy of Albania in Baku and invited the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to visit his country.
