Ilham Aliyev attended the opening of a new office building of the Nasimi district Executive Authority

President Ilham Aliyev has attended the opening of a new office building of the Nasimi district Executive Authority.

The head of the district Executive Authority, Nasib Mahamaliyev, informed President Ilham Aliyev that the new seven-storey office building was built in line with the latest requirements. The total area of the building is 5,000 square meters and it is fitted with all the necessary equipment and systems. The interior of the building, constructed in a modern architectural style and with good taste, is decorated with pictures of Azerbaijan’s diverse nature. All the offices meet modern standards. There are three meeting rooms, an archive, telecom rooms, a canteen and an underground car park for 25 vehicles in the building.

There is a bust of nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev in the lobby of the building. There are also stands reflecting the state symbols of Azerbaijan. Also in the lobby there are photos describing the public and political activities of great leader Heydar Aliyev and President Ilham Aliyev. Of particular interest are those of nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev and President Ilham Aliyev attending various activities in the Nasimi district.

The President was briefed on the building’s electronic management system and database. It was indicated that in accordance with President Aliyev’s instructions regarding the “electronic government”, the electronic management and system and the database will make it possible to process people’s applications and complaints. District residents can take advantage of the system by coming to the office building and sending their applications to relevant departments. Also, residents can also visit the web-site of the district executive authority from their homes.

President Ilham Aliyev examined the room where applicants will be received.

It was noted that it is possible to receive people in a prompt and efficient manner here. There are interesting books about the diverse political activities of nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev in the rooms. The 300-seat conference room meets the latest standards too.

During familiarization with a meeting room, President Ilham Aliyev was informed that it was fitted with necessary equipment. The 65-seat meeting room has been built in line with the latest requirements. The new office building is well suited for normal activities of staff. There is also an exhibition hall in the building, featuring interesting photos of the old and modern Baku. In the future, various local exhibitions may be held here.

President Ilham Aliyev reviewed the operational management center of the new office building. While reviewing a model of the district at the center, the President was told that it was equipped with special software providing information about all the structures in the district. The software clearly shows the boundaries of all local authorities. The center has a layout of all management, warning and communication systems in the event of any natural calamities, industrial disasters or a threat of destruction. Should any emergency occur in the district, the conditions available at the center enable a direct video link with relevant authorities.

The President was also informed about landscaping and creative work carried out in the district.

Then President Ilham Aliyev examined the newly-renovated park outside the office building.

It was noted that major reconstruction and landscaping work had been carried out in the area. An area of 4,560 square meters of the total area of the park of 6,760 square meters has been completely rebuilt. Many trees have been planted, fountains built and everything done to create suitable for people’s recreation in the park.
