President Ilham Aliyev has met with the President of the European People's Party, Wilfried Martens, in Brussels.
During the meeting the parties stressed the importance of expanding cooperation between the European People's Party and the “Yeni Azerbaijan Party" and noted that such ties contribute a lot to Azerbaijan's integration into the European Union.
The sides also emphasized the significance of the “European Union-Azerbaijan: New Partnership Horizons” conference organized by the European People's Party at the European Parliament last week.
The meeting also stressed the importance of strengthening the cooperation within the framework of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly.
