President Ilham Aliyev has reviewed a new park outside the office building of the Tax Ministry’s Special Regime Department.
On the instruction of the head of state, consistent measures have been taken in recent years to renew the parks and alleys in the city of Baku, establish new parks and create recreation facilities meeting international standards for the convenience of the population and visitors.
The establishment of new parks and green areas, catering facilities and a modern infrastructure in the parks and alleys is intended to make Baku one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
Tax Minister Fazil Mammadov informed President Ilham Aliyev about the work carried out in the new park. It was noted that the park is located near a broad and busy avenue, so a synthesis of planting and aquatic systems based on sound insulation has been used in the design. This will help preserve the environmental balance and create pleasant conditions for recreation in the park. A variety of ornamental trees, shrubs and flowers are planted here. Preference has been given to the evergreens. Flowers create a composition in the form of the “buta” pattern. A special drainage system has been installed and the soil enriched with organic matter. The park designed in a modern architectural style covers an area of one hectare and has a system of fountains “The tale of water”. Two 75-meter water mirrors look particularly beautiful. To ensure a constant circulation of water, two water tanks and wastewater treatment systems have been installed. Watering in the park is carried out by an automatic drip system. The park is faced in luzana stone brought from Italy and black African rock. To ensure a smooth operation of lighting and water supply systems, a 630-kilovolt substation has been built. The lighting system designed on a special project imparts special beauty to the park and the façade of the office building at night.
It was noted that the façade of the office building of the Tax Ministry’s Special Regime Department has also been reconstructed. It is now decorated with national ornaments. Turkish “limra” stone was used in the construction.
The head of state enquired about the quality of the building materials used.
After reviewing the work done, President Ilham Aliyev gave relevant instructions.
