Your Excellency,

On behalf of the International Organization for Migration (IOM), and in my own name, I have the honour and the pleasure to congratulate you most warmly on your re-election as President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Migration has become one of the major issues on the global agenda of the 21st century, and plays a significant role in your country. As you know, IOM has been present in the Republic of Azerbaijan since 1996, providing assistance to the Government in addressing migration-related issues.

We look forward to continuing the discussions with the Government in Baku, Geneva and elsewhere, on how IOM can manage better the benefits of migration for individuals, communities and society as a whole.

I sincerely hope that the cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and IOM will continue to foster and deepen, and will contribute to the future development of your country.
