President Ilham Aliyev attended the opening of the new “AZAD Systems Co” plant of “Sharg” Production Unit of the Ministry of Defense Industry in Albalilig residential area of Buzovna settlement.
The President laid flowers at the monument to national leader Heydar Aliyev.
President Ilham Aliyev cut the ribbon symbolizing the official opening and toured the production facility.
Minister of defense industry Yavar Jamalov gave detailed information about the facility to the President.
It was noted that five new production areas had been created and modern technological equipment installed at the plant. This provides for manufacturing of high-quality products.
Following a conversation with foreign experts, President Ilham Aliyev watched a film, featuring the products manufactured at the plant.
Then, the President toured the production area and viewed the technological process.
