President Ilham Aliyev met with Vice-President of “Microsoft” and President of “Microsoft International”, Jean-Philippe Courtois, in Davos.
Jean-Philippe Courtois recalled his previous meeting with President Ilham Aliyev and expressed his gratitude to the head of state for the support shown for effective work of the company in Azerbaijan. He underlined the importance of the ideas of the Azerbaijani President to convert oil revenues into human capital and the grand-scale investments put into the development of education system in Azerbaijan.
President Ilham Aliyev said Azerbaijan was interested in cooperation with “Microsoft” and expansion of its activities in the country. The President added that the ICT system is developing in Azerbaijan and good opportunities exist for broader activities of the “Microsoft” company in the country.
During discussions, it was underlined that the current growth rate in Azerbaijan and President Ilham Aliyev`s activity in this direction opened up good opportunities for deepening cooperation with “Microsoft”.
