The head of state, President of the National Olympic Committee Ilham Aliyev congratulated the athletes and members of the Wrestling Federation over the victory. President Ilham Aliyev described this achievement as the triumph of the national wrestling school and the result of the fruitful organization of work in Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation.
Touching upon the development of sports in Azerbaijan, President Ilham Aliyev highlighted the world sports community`s praising Azerbaijan`s sports. Noting that the number of medals has been increasing year by year, the head of state stressed the importance of establishing perfect sports infrastucture.
