Ilham Aliyev received the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Zimbabwe

President Ilham Aliyev has received the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Zimbabwe Simbarashe Mumbengegwi.

The head of state expressed confidence that the meetings of the Foreign Minister of Zimbabwe in Baku would be fruitful, and that the visit would be important in terms of developing the bilateral relations and defining new areas of cooperation.

Foreign Minister Simbarashe Mumbengegwi conveyed greetings on behalf of the President of the Republic of Zimbabwe, Robert Mugabe, to the President of Azerbaijan. He said there were good opportunities for the development of cooperation between the two countries in different areas.

The head of state expressed his gratitude for the greetings of President Robert Mugabe and asked Mr. Mumbengegwi to deliver his greetings to the President of Zimbabwe.
