Ilham Aliyev met French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius

President Ilham Aliyev met Laurent Fabius, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of France, in Davos.

Laurent Fabius conveyed to President Ilham Aliyev greetings from President of France François Hollande. 

It was emphasized at the meeting that bilateral ties between Azerbaijan and France are at a high level. It was noted that French companies are operating successfully in Azerbaijan. The importance of mutual investments was discussed. It was noted that reciprocal visits are making a significant contribution to developing relations between the two countries. 

It was noted at the meeting that there are good prospects for expanding ties and the high level of cooperation in the cultural sphere was emphasized.

Opinions on a settlement of the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagornyy Karabakh conflict were exchanged during the conversation.
The president of Azerbaijan expressed appreciation for the greetings from François Hollande and asked that his greetings should be conveyed to the President of France.
