Dear Mr President,

We heartily congratulate you on your re-election as President of the Azerbaijan Republic and express our best wishes.

Your victory in the presidential election with an overwhelming majority of votes is the embodiment of faith, respect and love for you not only at home, but also among all the Azerbaijanis of the world.

Thanks to your skilful leadership and well-thought out policies, the free, democratic and independent Azerbaijan Republic, created by the great statesman Heydar Aliyev, has achieved rapid development and taken advanced positions in the region. We, Azerbaijanis living abroad, are very excited about this historic success of our country.

Although we are forced by fate to live far from Azerbaijan, our hearts are always beating in unison with the homeland. We share its joy and sorrow. We always welcome the pragmatic policy pursued by you in the name of Azerbaijan and try to augment the glory of the motherland. No matter how hard it is to live in a foreign land, it does not affect our love for the motherland. We are always happy to follow the successes of Azerbaijan and we believe that in the coming years you will achieve many more victories for the greater progress of Azerbaijan so that it takes a special place in the world community and the image of our nation, which has an ancient and rich culture, improves. We are particularly looking forward to the time when you, as Supreme Commander-in-Chief, save our native Karabakh and beautiful Shusha from enemy occupation.

Our dear President, we have always felt your particular attention to the Azerbaijanis living abroad. The meeting with you during your visit to New York in May last year and pleasant impressions evoked by our warm conversation further convince us of this and encourage us to engage in a more fruitful activity for the homeland. Meridian International Media, functioning in the State of New York, has so far published numerous materials on the history and culture of Azerbaijan and the current stage of the development of our independent republic in local newspapers and Internet sites and prepared them for radio and TV. And with the advice that you gave us during our meetings and discussions, we intend to mobilize all our power and ability and continue to work on new projects to provide the Azerbaijani diaspora in the United States and its friends with the necessary information about the political, economic, social and cultural achievements of Azerbaijan.

Dear Mr President, we congratulate you once again on your convincing victory in the elections and wish you even greater successes in the implementation of the highest historical mission. Our compatriots living outside the homeland trust in you and always support you.

Regards,

Parvana Abbaspur

President of Meridian International Media in the US State of New York
