Your Excellency,

I heartily congratulate you on your reelection as President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

I do hope that thanks to the efforts of Your Excellency the friendly relations and cooperation between our two countries, which have celebrated the 21st anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, will reach an even higher level.

I always remember our visit to your country together with other members of the Japan -Azerbaijan Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group in August 2004 and our meeting with Your Excellency. As someone who has worked hard on the development of relations with Azerbaijan since the establishment of the Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group in 1998, I am very satisfied with the stable development of friendship and cooperation between our two countries for the past 10 years.

We, the members of the Japanese Parliament, assure you that we will make every effort for the development of your state and the relations between our two countries.

We congratulate Your Excellency and express our interest in meeting with you again.
