President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych telephoned President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev

On 9 October, President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych telephoned President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

Viktor Yanukovych congratulated President Ilham Aliyev on his convincing victory in the presidential election and wished him every success in the high post for the benefit of further development of the Azerbaijani people and state.

The President thanked the President of Ukraine for the attention and congratulations.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych highlighted the successful development of friendly relations between the two countries and expressed their confidence that bilateral relations would continue to develop.
