The scope of work aimed at creating a modern road infrastructure has been increased both in the capital and the regions of the country of late. As a result of the comprehensive measures being taken, along with the roads of national significance, regional and rural roads meeting modern requirements are also constructed. The government approaches this issue with great care and attention. The construction of new and the overhaul of existing roads and bridges in the country have acquired extensive proportions. The implementation of these measures shows that people’s comfort and social issues are always in the spotlight. It also suggests that the targeted social policy pursued by the government covers the entire country, including rural areas.

Transport Minister Ziya Mammadov informed the President and his wife about the basic parameters of the bridge.
It was noted that the construction of the five-span bridge over the Gudyalchay river on the Guba-Gusar road was launched in 2012. The renovation has been carried out in a short time and with high quality. The bridge is 136 long and 14.5 meters wide. It has six pillars. There are pedestrian walkways on the bridge 2 meters wide. The bridge has a 9-point earthquake resistance and its middle support is made up of a four-pillar structure. A new alternative road 3.6 km in length has been built over the bridge.
The construction of the new bridge will enable vehicles to directly access the Guba-Gusar highway bypassing the town, which is very important from the point of view of safety.
