Ilham Aliyev arrived in Balakan District

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has arrived in Balakan District.

First, the head of state visited the statue of nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev and laid flowers at it.

The head of the Balakan District Executive Authority, Islam Rzayev, informed President Ilham Aliyev about the work done in the Heydar Aliyev Park where the statue was erected. It was noted that extensive landscaping work had been carried out in the park and a green area established in it. The park, covering an area of 22 hectares, is now one of the favorite places of recreation for local residents and visitors of Balakan.
