President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has met with President of the Kyrgyz Republic Almazbek Atambayev, who is visiting Azerbaijan, at the presidential residency in Gabala.
The sides stressed the importance of the upcoming Third Summit of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-speaking States. It was noted that this event would give an impetus to the cooperation between the two countries in political, economic, humanitarian and cultural spheres. The Presidents also noted the development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan and pointed to good prospects for cooperation in the transport sector.
The sides exchanged views on a number of other issues.
