As part of a visit to Oguz District, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has attended the opening of nursery school No. 2 in Oguz.

The provision of children with quality education and healthcare meeting world standards, the comprehensive care and attention being paid to educating the younger generation as responsible citizens are the main principles of the state child policy in Azerbaijan. The Heydar Aliyev Foundation is also implementing important projects in this area. The adoption and realization of state programs in this direction has become sustainable.
Nurseries, kindergartens and recreation centers are built in Baku and the regions, boarding and secondary schools are remodelled throughout the country. The new kindergarten built in Oguz is another strong indication of the reforms carried out in this area.
The President was informed about extensive building and landscaping work carried out to create the necessary conditions for the effective organization of children’s leisure. Photographs reflecting the attention of President Ilham Aliyev and President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva are posted in the lobby and rooms. There are various leisure and entertainment facilities in the nursery school. The modern-looking building of the kindergarten imparts further beauty to the rapidly developing Oguz.
The President of Azerbaijan was informed that the construction of the kindergarten had begun in 2012. The total floor area of the building is 1,510 square meters. The kindergarten will provide permanent jobs to 26 people. It has all the conditions for organizing a meaningful recreation, expanding children’s outlook and improving their skills. Recreation rooms are decorated with large paintings depicting scenes from various fairy tales and cartoons.
President Ilham Aliyev expressed his satisfaction with the work done at the nursery school.
