President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has attended the opening of the Ivanovka-Hajihatamli-Mollaisagli road in Ismayilli.
The head of state first reviewed the stands reflecting the technical and economic parameters of the road, and watched a video.
It was noted that the scope of work on the modernization of the road infrastructure had expanded both in the capital and in the regions in recent years. Today, along with the roads of national significance, the government is also building modern inner and rural roads. One of them is the Ivanovka-Hajihatamli-Mollaisagli road. It was built on a high level and in a short period of time.
Funds in the amount of 3 million manats were allocated for the construction of this road from the Contingency Fund of the
President following a presidential decision dated 16 March 2012.
The Ivanovka-Hajihatamli-Mollaisagli road links seven settlements with a population of 6,000 people. By a decision of the Cabinet of Ministers from 30 December 2012, additional funds in the amount of 5.5 million manats were allocated for the construction of the road. The total cost of the project is 8,526,000 manats. As part of the project, a road 29.5 km in length has been built, concrete drains installed in 18 locations and traffic signs put up. Three bus stops at the beginning of the road have been renovated and 10 new bus stops built in villages. A pavement has been installed in the section of the road passing through the village of Ivanovka for the safety of pedestrians. The commissioning of the road has created favourable conditions for the convenient and smooth movement of vehicles and is very important from the point of view of passenger safety.
