Ilham Aliyev received the outgoing Ambassador of Greece to Azerbaijan at the end of his diplomatic mission in the country

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Greece to Azerbaijan Ioannis Metaxas at the end of his diplomatic mission in the country.

Indicating that the relations between Azerbaijan and Greece have developed successfully during the diplomatic activity of Ioannis Metaxas in our country, the President wished the Ambassador success in his future endeavors.

The sides expressed their satisfaction with the development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Greece, emphasized the importance of high-level reciprocal visits for the strengthening of ties and highlighted the presence of great opportunities for further cooperation. The parties also exchanged views on ways of strengthening the partnership between the two countries in energy, investment and other areas.
