President Ilham Aliyev has received the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, Ahmet Davutoglu.
Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu conveyed greetings on behalf of President Abdullah Gul and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
During the meeting, the sides noted that the friendly and fraternal relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan were developing successfully in all areas and said that the meetings and mutual high-level visits served to further strengthen the ties. The sides also highlighted the importance of the international events held in Baku recently in terms of strengthening the cooperation between the two countries and peoples.
The head of state expressed his gratitude for the greetings from President Abdullah Gul and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and asked the minister to convey his greetings to the President and the Prime Minister of Turkey.
