President Ilham Aliyev has received a delegation led by the Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani.
Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, conveyed greetings on behalf of the heads of Council member-states to the President of Azerbaijan.
The sides stressed the importance of the international conference to help Palestine being held in Baku, noted that cooperation between Azerbaijan and countries of the Persian Gulf was at a high level and that the relations were developing successfully in both bilateral format and within international organizations.
The parties also stressed the value of identifying new areas of cooperation and exchanged views on expanding ties in other all.
The head of state expressed his gratitude for the greetings from the heads of Gulf Cooperation Council member-states and asked the Secretary General to convey his greetings to them in return.
