President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Zlatko Lagumdzija.

The President noted that bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Bosnia and Herzegovina were developing successfully. President Ilham Aliyev recalled with satisfaction the visit of the President of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bakir Izetbegovic, to Azerbaijan and the discussions on the ways of expanding cooperation held during the visit. The President expressed his hope that the visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Zlatko Lagumdzija, to Azerbaijan would serve to further enhance bilateral ties.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Zlatko Lagumdzija, thanked President Ilham Aliyev for the support provided by Azerbaijan to his country. Indicating that the two countries had friendly relations even before gaining independence, the Minister noted that there were good opportunities for their expansion.
