The dynamics of positive change observed in Azerbaijan in recent decades along with the strong foundation laid down in the distant 1918 have been the guarantor of the existence of a modern developed state, which is a role model for many countries not only in the region but also in the world. A significant role in the successful establishment and existence of the Azerbaijan Republic belongs, along with the founding fathers, to contemporary leaders who have ensured good governance as well as the necessary continuity in the promotion and development of socioeconomic and cultural foundations of the country. In this context, it would be no exaggeration to give the highest possible assessment to the contribution of one of the most successful leaders of Azerbaijan, my friend and teacher Heydar Alirza oglu Aliyev, to the cause of state building in modern Azerbaijan!
