Ilham Aliyev received a delegation led by the Prosecutor General of China and President of the International Association of Anti-Corruption Authorities

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received a delegation led by the Prosecutor General of China and President of the International Association of Anti-Corruption Authorities, Cao Jianming.

Stressing that bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and China were at a high level, the President expressed his confidence of a further expansion of this relationship in the future. Noting that political relations were developing quite successfully, President Ilham Aliyev said that the two countries also cooperated effectively within the framework of international organizations. The President stressed that the two countries were making good progress in the economic sphere. President Aliyev noted that the development of cooperation between law-enforcement agencies of the two countries would have a positive impact on the expansion of multifaceted relations existing between the two countries and expressed hope that the visit of the Prosecutor General of the People's Republic of China and the President of the International Association of Anti-Corruption Authorities, Cao Jianming, to Azerbaijan would serve to further develop these ties.

Stressing that Azerbaijan was a great and reliable friend of China, Cao Jianming said his country was interested in further strengthening the positions of Azerbaijan in the region. The guest emphasized the importance of mutual support between Azerbaijan and China in international organizations. He said that as part of the International Association of Anti-Corruption Authorities the law-enforcement agencies of the two countries cooperated in the fight against corruption.
