On August 23, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev laid the foundation stone for the “Azerbaijan” Park in New Tashkent.
A public space reflecting the rich culture, centuries-old history, and traditions of Azerbaijan will be created there. The park will contribute to further strengthening the bonds between the brotherly peoples of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.
The establishment of the “Uzbekistan” Park in Baku and the “Azerbaijan” Park in New Tashkent will serve as another symbol of the centuries-old friendship, mutual respect, and cultural affinity between the peoples of the two countries, as well as the strong and dynamically developing bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.
