On August 11, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Victorious Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva attended a ceremony in Nakhchivan dedicated to the presentation of Battle Flags to the newly established operational (commando) military units of the Separate Combined Arms Army.
President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva were welcomed by the leadership of the Ministry of Defense at the headquarters of the Separate Combined Arms Army.
Minister of Defense Colonel General Zakir Hasanov reported to the Commander-in-Chief on the newly established military units.
