Ilham Aliyev met with Turkish President Abdullah Gul

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met with Turkish Presdient Abdullah Gul at the “Chiragan” Palace of Istanbul. 

During the meeting, satisfaction was expressed with successful development of friendly relations between the two countries in various fields, and the importance of the X Summit of the Turkiс-Speaking Countries’ State Leaders was highlighted. It was noted that the event would contribute to further strengthening of cooperation between the Turkish speaking countries.

The prospects of cooperation between the two countries were discussed during the meeting.
