President Ilham Aliyev has met with President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Suma Chakrabarti in Davos.
The sides pointed to many years of fruitful cooperation between Azerbaijan and the EBRD and discussed the prospects for the development of relations. The parties exchanged views on cooperation between the EBRD and Azerbaijan in the energy and non-energy sectors, the field of information and communication technology, the development of industry, agriculture, tourism and other areas. It was emphasized that Azerbaijan attached particular importance to the development of social infrastructure.
Noting that the financial organization he is leading attached great importance to cooperation with Azerbaijan, the EBRD President said that he planned to pay a visit to our country.
