Ilham Aliyev met with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban

President Ilham Aliyev met with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban.

The President highlighted the importance of Prime Minister Viktor Orban’s visit to Azerbaijan for discussing the issues related to bilateral relations, and expressed his hope in further successful development of relations in various fields.

Prime Minister Viktor Orban said the visit provided a good opportunity to discuss the current state and prospects of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Hungary, and expressed confidence in fruitful conduct of discussions throughout the visit.

The importance of the AGRI project for enhancement of energy cooperation between the countries was noted during the meeting.

During the discussions, the sides also noted the significance of Azerbaijan-Hungarian bilateral relations for cooperation within the framework of the European Union, and mentioned the existence of good potential for expansion of bilateral ties in various fields, including the humanitarian field.
