President Ilham Aliyev has reviewed the newly reconstructed crèche and kindergarten No 67 in the Mushvigabad settlement of Baku.
Baku Mayor Hajibala Abutalibov informed President Ilham Aliyev and his wife Mehriban Aliyeva that the two-storey building owned by the Office of preschool institutions and orphanages of Baku was built in 1987 and had not been renovated in the past 25 years. In accordance with the President’s instruction, renovation of the building began in June last year.
While reviewing the photo stand describing the appearance of the building before renovation, President Ilham Aliyev was informed that the previous building had become completely unusable. The new kindergarten building meets the high standards.
During familiarization with the preschool institution, the President of Azerbaijan and his wife were informed that there is a stand with state symbols in the lobby. There is a photo stand reflecting the care and attention of nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev, President Ilham Aliyev and President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva to children.
It was noted that the 112-seat facility will provide teaching and training for children aged 2 to 6 years in seven groups. The teaching will be provided by a staff of 40 professional educators. The kindergarten is designed to the liking of the little ones and operates music and game rooms. The music room is equipped with modern facilities. There is also a 3D cinema, which is a gift from the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. The bright and spacious canteen will provide children with four meals a day. The kitchen equipment has also been presented by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
It was emphasized that children's health is constantly in focus. There is a separate medical office in the building. The nursery rooms for 15 kids and groups of 20 older children have comfortable beds, colorful tables and chairs, a variety of developing toys and books. Posted on the walls are the pictures of favorite fairy tale characters.
It was noted that the building had a centralized heating system and would be continuously supplied with hot and cold water. All the rooms are fitted with surveillance cameras. Children will be taught Russian, English and other languages in a classroom on the second floor. Kids will also be prepared for school here. The training room is fitted with all necessary equipment.
When reviewing the institution, the head of state was informed that the area around it had been fully landscaped and trees planted. In order to teach children the rules of the road, a special area has been set up in the courtyard. There are also recreation areas on the premises.
The President praised the work done and gave relevant instructions and recommendations.
