The post reads: “The passing of Arif Babaev, a towering figure in Azerbaijani mugham art, is an irreparable loss for our culture and our nation. He was a true People’s Artist, cherished by generations. His masterful performances of mugham enriched our national musical heritage and left a lasting imprint on Azerbaijani art. The kind and radiant memory of Arif Babaev will forever live in the hearts of our people. May Allah rest his soul in peace.”
