Ilham Aliyev received a delegation led by the chairman of the Indonesian Regional Representatives Council

President Ilham Aliyev has received a delegation led by the chairman of the Indonesian Regional Representatives Council Irman Gusman.

The head of state expressed his satisfaction with the successful development of friendly and cooperative relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Indonesia. President Ilham Aliyev noted importance of the support of these two countries to each other in all the international organizations. The head of state expressed gratitude to Indonesian government for support to the country`s justice position in the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno Karabakh conflict`s discussion in UN and the country`s election to UN Security Council as a non-permanent member. President Ilham Aliyev praised the visit of the Indonesian delegation led by chairman of the Regional Representatives Council Irman Gusman as a good indicator of the friendly relations between the countries. He also expressed his confidence that the visit would contribute to the expansion of bilateral relationship.

The chairman of the Indonesian Regional Representatives Council Irman Gusman said Indonesia paid big importance to the strengthening of cooperation with Azerbaijan. He emphasized Indonesia's support of the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan. Irman Gusman stressed the existence of great potential for boosting of bilateral cooperation in all fields, including political, economic, energy, investment, trade, cultural and other ones. The guest noted the significance of the implementation of joint projects between different Azerbaijani and Indonesian companies.
