President Ilham Aliyev has attended the opening of Horadiz municipal culture center after reconstruction.
The head of state cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening of the culture center.
It was noted that the reconstruction of the center began in June 2011 and was completed in August this year. The total area of the culture center is 1,472 square meters. The two-storey building imparts special beauty to the town. Special attention has been paid to the quality of reconstruction work. In the lobby of the building, there is a bust of nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev, a photo stand reflecting the attention and care of the great leader and President Ilham Aliyev about the development of culture and art.
President Ilham Aliyev reviewed the auditorium of the culture center. It was noted that it has 135 seats. There are offices, rehearsal rooms and the director’s control room on the second floor.
The President visited the art gallery on the second floor of the center.
It was mentioned that it demonstrates exhibits discovered during archaeological excavations in Fizuli District. There is also an exhibition of works by students of Art School No 2. The conditions available at the center will enable the team to work even better.
