We are truly saddened by the news about the tragic plane crash on 25 December 2024, in which precious lives were lost and many were injured.
On behalf of the Government and People of the Republic of Suriname, I extend sympathy and sincere condolences to the Government and People of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved families, who have lost their loved ones. It is our hope that the injured passengers will have a speedy and full recovery.
May the Almighty give you and your People the strength to endure this tragedy.
