It is with deep sorrow that I received the sad news of the tragedy involving the Azerbaijan Airlines aircraft, which resulted in the loss of the crew members and passengers.
Sharing in your grief, I offer my sincere condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims, as well as to the entire brotherly people of Azerbaijan. This irreplaceable loss is a shared sorrow for all of us. I wish a swift recovery to those injured and hope they are soon reunited with their families.
I am confident that the brotherly people of Azerbaijan will overcome this difficult trial with the resilience and courage they are known for.
