It is with profound sadness that I write to express my heartfelt condolences to Your Excellency and the people of Azerbaijan following the devastating plane crash on December 25, 2024, which claimed the lives of so many innocent people.
This tragic event has deeply touched the hearts of the people of Kuala Lumpur, and we stand in solidarity with the Azerbaijani nation during this time of grief and sorrow. Our prayers are with the families of the victims and with all those who have been affected by this terrible tragedy.
As you observe the National Day of Mourning, please know that Kuala Lumpur mourns with you and honors the memories of those who perished. May their souls rest in eternal peace, and may their loved ones find strength and comfort in the days ahead.
