As part of a state visit President Ilham Aliyev has met with Prime Minister of Singapore Lee Hsien Loong.
The sides exchanged views on the prospects of the fruitful cooperation between the two countries in various fields. During the discussion of issues of mutual investment between Azerbaijan and Singapore, it was emphasized that certain work was already under way in this direction. The State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic has started functioning in Singapore, and several companies of Singapore were opened in Azerbaijan.
During the meeting the sides exchanged their views on issues of mutual interest. It was also stressed about the importance of frequent reciprocal visits for successful cooperation.
