President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, attended the ground-breaking ceremony for the Khankendi Congress Center on July 5.
During the event, the head of state was briefed on the details of the project.
The Congress Center will cover a total area of 6,000 square meters, with a construction area of approximately 2,000 square meters. This four-story facility will include halls for hosting various events, a gym, indoor swimming pool, and a SPA zone.
President Aliyev was also informed about the adjacent "Khankendi" hotel project, which spans 3,800 square meters, including 900 square meters of construction area. The hotel will offer 105 rooms of different categories and modern catering facilities. A "Lobby Lounge & Terrace" restaurant will operate on the first floor of the hotel.
At the ceremony, President Ilham Aliyev laid the foundation stone for the Khankendi Congress Center.
