"Garabagh" hotel reopened after major overhaul and restoration in Khankendi
President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended the ceremony to reopen the "Garabagh" hotel in the city of Khankendi after its major overhaul and restoration.
Ramin Guluzade, Head of the President's Administrative Services Department, briefed the head of state on the completed works.
Originally commissioned in the mid-20th century, the hotel underwent extensive renovation in 2023 after Azerbaijan restored its territorial integrity through a 24-hour anti-terrorist operation. President Ilham Aliyev instructed the commencement of renovation and reconstruction, successfully restoring the building to its original appearance.
The hotel has reverted to its former name, "Garabagh," and now offers modern amenities for the comfort of guests visiting Khankendi, including rooms of various categories and a restaurant. It is also equipped to host business meetings and events.
Additionally, landscaping work was carried out within the hotel premises.
