Ilham Aliyev reviewed secondary school No 173 in the Yasamal district of Baku after major overhaul and reconstruction

President Ilham Aliyev has reviewed secondary school No 173 in the Yasamal district of Baku after major overhaul and reconstruction.

In accordance with the action plan for the overhaul and reconstruction of schools under the state program on the socioeconomic development of Baku and its suburban settlements, the overhaul and reconstruction of schools is ongoing in the capital.

Baku Mayor Hajibala Abutalibov informed President Ilham Aliyev about the work done at secondary school No 173. It was noted that the school building was constructed in 1939. The school for 800 pupils has 30 classrooms. Currently, it provides education to 320 pupils. The overhaul and reconstruction of the school were carried out in a short time and in accordance with high standards.

The President examined the classrooms and reviewed the conditions in them. The classrooms have the necessary conditions for learning. Classrooms, subject-specific rooms and laboratories are fitted with modern equipment. Security cameras are also installed in the school. The floors in the hallways and stairs are covered with high-quality marble. The school has a new modern heating system and its courtyard has been landscaped.
