President Ilham Aliyev has accepted the credentials from the newly-appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand to Azerbaijan Rathakit Manathat.
The ambassador reviewed the guard of honor.
Ambassador Rathakit Manathat presented his credentials to President Ilham Aliyev.
Then the President had a discussion with the Ambassador.
The sides noted that both countries were interested in developing the relations between the Kingdom of Thailand and Azerbaijan and pointed to the role of reciprocal visits in studying the opportunities for cooperation. The parties indicated that there were good opportunities for developing relations in the fields of energy, culture, tourism, economy and trade.
